FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel.

BURIAL: Baggett Creek Cemetery in Comanche County.

VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at Proctor Community Center at 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday.

Lou Cressie Evans, age 84, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012, in Comanche, Texas.

She was born on November 21, 1927, in Comanche County, Texas to Henry Clinton Jones and Susannah (Hasley) Jones. On July 10, 1943, she was united in marriage to Robert W. “Bill” Evans in Comanche, Texas. He preceded her in death on August 10, 2005. Lou was manager of Sidran’s Sewing Factory in Dublin for 30 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Proctor Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Billy Ray Evans and wife Doylene of Proctor; daughter, Doris Pairish and husband Harold of Brownwood; grandson, Dr. W. R. “Bill” Evans and wife Nanette of Stephenville; granddaughter, Mandi Pairish of Carrollton; granddaughter, Ann R. Evans of Proctor; great-grandson, William Rockwell Evans, Jr. of Stephenville; great-granddaughter, Aliana Marie Evans of Stephenville; great-granddaughter, Angie Kay Evans of Proctor; sister, Fay Grissom of Odessa and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters Neva Floyd, Dale Lane, and Willie Mae Watts; two brothers, Jim Jones and Elwyn Ray Jones and parents Henry and Sudie Jones.
