BURIAL: Evergreen Cemetery in Gustine.
VISITATION: 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at Gustine Church of Christ at 12:30 P.M. on Thursday.
Mack Stark, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, in Comanche County, Texas.
He was born on February 27, 1934, in Gorman, to R.O. and Veda (Cottrell) Stark. On December 31, 1954, he was united in marriage to Lavon Stuteville, in Gustine. Mack was a peanut farmer and rancher.
He is survived by his wife, Lavon Stark of Gustine; daughter, Janese Sears and husband B.R. of Gustine; son, Keith Stark of Gustine; son, Adam Stark and wife Diane of Gustine; six grandchildren: Tausha Garcia, Anisha Stark, Noah Stark, Coy Sears, Mollie Sears, and Rudy Garcia; one great-grandson, Logan Garcia; sister, Bonnie McCullough of Cleburne; sister, Kathie Walker and husband Kenneth of Comanche; sister-in-law, Gay Stuteville Green of Gustine; and five step-grandchildren: Valrie Banda, Crystal Teacle, Rozanne Dycuss, Hillary Villarell, and Bonnie Gilder; step-great-granddaughter, Marie Garcia; and step-great-great-grandson, Zaden Escalante. He was preceded in death by his parents, R.O. and Veda (Cottrell) Stark.
