Sarah Alice Gerdes, age 62, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012, at Scott & White Healthcare Hospital in Round Rock, Texas.
She was born in Rising Star on November 24, 1949, to James D. Kelsey and Linner (Donaldson) Kelsey. On April 19, 1976, she was united in marriage to O’ Brian Gerdes in Houston, TX. Sarah was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, O’ Brian Gerdes of Taylor, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Deanna Ming and John of Hutto, TX; daughter, Kathryn Gerdes of Taylor, TX; two brothers, Earl Kelsey of Meridian, TX and Garland Kelsey and wife Melba of Beebe, AR; five sisters, Barbara LeJeune of Abilene, TX; Joyce Houlihan and husband Ron of Abilene, TX; Linda Sue Carter Of Leonard, TX; Margaret Zeigler and husband Louie of Collier, TX; Sam Phillips of Dripping Springs, TX and three grandchildren.
