BURIAL: Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche.
VISITATION: 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday evening at the funeral home.
LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at noon on Tuesday at the Full Gospel Church, East Oak Street, Comanche, Texas.
Doris Evelyn Martin, age 88, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Comanche County Medical Center, in Comanche County, Texas.
She was born in Hamilton on February 23, 1924, to Sam and Willie Mae (Rogers) Livingston. On December 26, 1942, she was united in marriage to Melvin Martin in Comanche. Doris was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons and daughter-in-laws, Roger Martin and Brenda of Comanche; Gary Martin and Tami of Comanche; Camon Martin and DeeDee of Comanche; two daughters, Melva Brooks and husband Benny of Comanche; and Cheryl Pfingsten of Comanche, one daughter-in-law, Sandy Oliveris; two sister-in-laws, Ruby Livingston of Comanche and Vione McNeely of NM; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; close friend of family Cody Hiller. Preceded in death by husband, Melvin Martin; daughter, Sue Wallace, son, Glen Martin; three brothers, J.W. Livingston, Johnny Livingston and Sam Livingston and one sister, Verna Narretta.
