VISITATION: Family will meet with friends prior to the funeral service on Sunday. Anna Lee Carroll, age 102, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014, in Brownwood, Texas. She was born on November 23, 1911, in Kingsville, Texas, to Ed and Arie Sarah (Frazier) Whitley. In 1934, she was united in marriage to Lester E. Carroll in George West, Texas. Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by two sons, Jerry Carroll and wife Norma of Granbury, and Neil Carroll and wife Martha of Gustine; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
