Donita is survived by her life partner, James Evett; her children, Rodney Cogburn and wife Reagan, Darrick Cogburn, and Kayla Martin and husband Christopher "Radar" Martin; her stepchildren, Jay Evett and wife, and Johnathan Evett and wife Tina; and her grandchildren, Macie Cogburn, Maddox Cogburn, Riley Martin, Paige Martin, Madison Evett, and Caden Evett.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Cogburn, and her mother and father.

Anyone who knew Donita knows that she touched the lives of so many people throughout her community. She will be remembered for the smile that greeted you when you walked into her building, her enormous love for animals Of all kinds-even a black panther-and her tender heart for children, especially those who needed someone to love them.

Donita was many things to many people: Donita, Mom, Nana, and Sweetheart. But to everyone who loved her, she was simply irreplaceable.

Her laughter, her smile, her kindness, and her unforgettable spirit will live on in the hearts Of all who knew her.
