Donna Pyle Brock

Apr 25, 1950 — Aug 31, 2026

Donna Sue Pyle Brock, lovingly known as Nana, passed away on August 31, 2026, surrounded by family.

Born on April 25, 1950, in Crosby County, Donna was a daughter of Earnest and Frances Pyle. She attended school in Robertson and went on to build the life she treasured most, one centered entirely around her family. For 47 years, she was married to John Brock, and she was his biggest supporter, standing beside him in every endeavor and cheering him on through it all.

Donna made her home the heart of her family. As a homemaker, she poured her love into the people around her, and everyone looked forward to the food she prepared for family holidays, meals that brought loved ones together year after year. She was kind and thoughtful by nature, the kind of person who made others feel seen and cared for.

Beyond her family, Donna had a deep love for her dogs that nobody could quite match. She was also an avid antiques collector, finding joy and beauty in treasures with a story to tell. But above all, Donna was proudest of her family, and they were the great work of her life.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Frances Pyle, and her brothers, Ronnie Pyle and Wayne Pyle.

She is survived by her husband, John Brock; her daughter, Teresa Richburg; her son, David Brock; and her many beloved grandchildren, Nicole Hoge, Jonathan Tucek, Amber Tucek, Burgandy Book, David Brock, Janet Brock, Sandra Brock, Bri Brock, Justice Brock, Sidney Richburg and Morgan Martin.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8th, at Comanche Funeral Home, with the service to follow at 2 p.m. that same day. Barry Canter will lead the service. A reception will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church at 4pm. Graveside service will take place in Ralls, TX at the Ralls Cemetery at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Donna's memory.

The family wishes to thank everyone who loved her, because she loved everyone fiercely. May she rest in the peace and comfort of the Lord she trusted, surrounded now by those who went before her.
