Donny Ray Norwood

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Donny Ray Norwood's passing on March 10, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on March 5, 1949, in Eastland, Texas, Donny was a life long resident of Comanche and a treasured figure in our community. Donny spent many years at Biggs Farm Supply, where he forged countless friendships and shared many laughs, leaving a lasting impact on those who knew him.

Donny was a loving husband to the late Linda Elaine (Thornal) Norwood, with whom he celebrated 53 wonderful years. Together, they built a loving family that will forever cherish the memories they created. Donny will be missed dearly by his daughter, Debra Clark, and son, James Shipman, along with his grandchildren, Matthew, Zachery, Mylia, and Brianna Shipman. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Payton Rutland, Makayla Locke, T.J. Rutland, and Bladen Locke; nephew, Shayne Satterwhite; nieces, Dena Escobar, Michelle Velasquez, Wendy Hibbitts, Alicia Erichsen, Caitlin Thornal, Brandy Clibbens, and Cassey Zovodney.
