Jeanette Laverne Peters, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on June 27, 1935, in Gustine, Texas, to Dick and Hazel (Cook) Willingham. On December 21, 1957, she was united in marriage to Louis Earl Peters in Gustine. He preceded her in death on June 30, 1988. For many years Jeanette was employed by Dallas Independent School District as a secretary. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by two sons, John Peters of Tupelo, Oklahoma and James Peters of St. Louis, Missouri; three daughters, Karlena Hanna and husband Myles of Borden, Indiana, Vicki Klaus of Dallas, and Dana Peters of Dallas; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Lena Price and husband J. T. of Rockwall. She was preceded in death by one sister, Karla Couch.
