Joe Laman, Jr., age 82, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021, in Comanche County, Texas.
He was born on September 10, 1938, in Crandall, Texas, to Joe Bailey Laman, Sr. and Kathleen (Savage) Lamanl. On January 1, 1957, he was united in marriage to Mary Lane in Durant, Oklahoma. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Joe was a scrap metal dealer. He was a real cowboy, loved the outdoors and had a passion for hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-four years, Mary Laman of Comanche; son, Chad Laman of Comanche; four grandchildren: John, Michael, Heather and Cody; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Becky Laman; parents, Joe Sr. and Kathleen Laman; and brothers, Tommy Laman and Micky Laman.
