Laura Isela Elizondo, 58, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on September 21, 2026 leaving behind a beautiful legacy of warmth and quiet grace. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Born on October 16, 1967 to Juan Antonio and Rosantina Elizondo, Laura was a 1986 graduate of Gustine High School and graduated from Tarleton State University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She went on to build a career of nearly three decades with Texas Health and Human Services, dedicating 29 years to public service in childcare licensing and benefits eligibility. Never one to slow down, Laura pursued a new path after retirement, earning her paralegal certification and going on to work at several law firms in Arlington.
Laura was known for her kindness, generosity, and beauty, both inside and out. She found joy in life's simple treasures and had a deep love of books and art. She had an eye for beautiful things, whether she was admiring them in a gallery or uncovering hidden treasures while thrifting, one of her many favorite pastimes. She brought warmth and thoughtfulness to everything she did and everyone she met.
Laura is preceded in death by her father, Juan Antonio Elizondo, and brother, Juan Antonio Elizondo, Jr.
Laura is survived by her mother, Rosantina Elizondo, and her sister, Elda Elizondo.
Though her presence is no longer with us, her beautiful spirit and memories will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones. She will be remembered for her giving nature, her love of beauty in all its forms, and the joy she brought into the lives of her family and friends.
