LaVerne Lippe

LaVerne Lippe, age 95, went to be with her Lord on June 2, 2025, passing peacefully at Legacy Estate Long Term Care in Comanche, Texas.

She was born at home on February 1, 1930 in Cross Cut, Texas located in Brown County. In 1965, LaVerne made Comanche her home after marrying George Henry Lippe on August 18th of the same year.

LaVerne is survived by her children, daughter, Penny Graves of Comanche; son, Donnie Graves and wife, Karla, of Eugene, Oregon; daughter, Patsy (Graves) Beaty and husband, Kenny, of Abilene, and Susan (Lippe) Walker of Comanche; brother, Norman Bennett of Spokane, Washington; granddaughters, Andi (and Jeff) Goolsby, Nikki (and Tress) White, and Tanna Walker (and Erica Schoch), and Nicole Graves; grandson, Ryan Graves; seven great- granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.

LaVerne was preceded in death by her husband, George Lippe; parents, Robert Earl and Ernestine Bennett; grandson, Scott Beaty; and great-grandson, Hunter Goolsby.

The family would like to commend the staff of both Legacy Estates Long Term Care and CCS Hospice for the exceptional care they provided LaVerne.
