Linda Janner

Linda Dorene Janner passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 82.
She was born Linda Dorene Elliott to Murlin E. Elliott and Elmeree (Hicks) Elliott on January 24th 1943. Linda graduated from Comanche High School. Linda met the love of her life Carl (Carly) Janner and they married on October 21st 1961. Linda and Carl had two children, son, Dirk and daughter, Shannon.

Linda enrolled at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos. She received her degree in Bachelor of Science in Education with Academic Excellence With Highest Honors. She started her 27 year long career in education at Priddy ISD and the final years as a district Librarian at Goldthwaite, Lometa and Mullin. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved all children, hers, her family's and everybody else's. But let's not forget the animals! She loved animals. Linda and Carl were lifelong ranchers, and she tended to them all with love and compassion, and this trait was passed on. Linda had a great sense of humor and she brought joy and laughter to wherever she was, all the way to the end. Linda was a devout Christian, and she loved Jesus. She held his hand all the way.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband Carl; and her father and mother, Murlin and Elmeree Elliott.

She is survived by her son, Dirk Janner and wife Dorene; daughter, Shannon and husband Stephen Glatter; sisters:Debra Reynolds and husband Ray and Janice Reeves and husband Robert; grandchildren:
Dustin Janner and wife Dana, Dylan Janner and wife Megan, Coe Janner, Ashlee and husband Junior Moya, Hollie and husband Matthew Medina, Kelcie and husband Ty Kuhn, Lance Hopper, Baylee and husband Paul MacMillan; 23 great grandchildren, plus one on the way, any day now; and numerous relatives and loving friends.
