Summit Avenue, Comanche, Texas 76442 Sondra Jean Mitchell, age 64, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012, in Abilene, Texas. She was born on October 5, 1948, in Abilene to Travis Haney and Dorothy Jean Hicks. On November 6, 1965, she was united in marriage to David Wayne Mitchell in Abilene. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and she was a homemaker. She was a member of Abiding Life Fellowship Church in Comanche. She is survived by her husband, David Mitchell of Comanche; son and daughter-in-law, David and Jan Mitchell of San Antonio; daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Stan Hicks of Comanche; two granddaughters, Chloé Nicholas and Macee Mitchell; mother, Dorothy Keys of Comanche; four sisters, Brenda Steele of Comanche, Arbie McAliley of Nacogdoches, Mary Smith of Comanche, and Helen Solomon of De Leon; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Travis Haney.
