Stacy Reese

Stacy Eugene Reese, 72, of Comanche, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025. Born on December 12, 1952, in Gorman, Texas, Stacy was the beloved son of Odell and Farris Myrlene Reese.

Stacy made his mark as a college professor at Canyon Texas State for four years before diving into a fulfilling 23-year career in horticulture in Dallas County. He had a rich and varied life filled with passions; in his earlier years, he was an active member of the United Methodist Church, later finding a sense of community and fellowship within the Masonic Lodge. He loved spending time outdoors, whether hunting or fishing, embracing the beauty of nature.

Stacy is survived by his brother, Stanton Reese, who will honor his brother's memory and legacy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Odell and Farris Myrlene Reese.
