Tressie Patterson

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10:30 A.M. Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION: None scheduled. Tressie Patterson, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, in Comanche County, Texas. She was born on May 27, 1939, in Brownwood, Texas, to J. W. Barnett and Gussie (Lewis ) Barnett. In June, 1955, she was united in marriage to William Patterson in Bangs, Texas. He preceded her in death on January 4, 2005. Tressie was a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Richard Patterson of Comanche; daughter, Kathy Holmsley of Comanche; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Brenda Armstrong of Brownwood and Opal Foster of Early; and brother, James Towery of Brownwood.
